Asus P552w Specifications and Price. Asus P552w is a compact handheld with a much more feature-packed device. The P552w is quite light (105g) and handy and shouldn’t generate much of a bulge in pockets or handbags. The screen of this handheld is even with the chassis. This makes it easy to make commands on the display using finger swipes and taps. There’s a wide black border around the LCD and a few buttons and a directional pad are found below the screen including the regular Call and Hang up keys. The keypad is large enough to be useful and the keys are easy to access.
Along the left side, there are volume controls and a port to connect to an external GPS antenna. On the right side, there is a shutter to activate the camera and to take a shot. On the same side, there is a Hold key the same as on MP3 players. Activating it will disable all buttons and turns off the screen. It’s a suitable solution which lets you turn off the device and keylock in one step. Asus P552w has only one mini-USB one for charging, syncing and connecting a wired headset. The stylus slot is found in the top right corner of the phone and the provided plastic pointer is light.
