All three BlackBerry devices are the same except that the BlackBerry Curve 9350 is a CDMA variant, the BlackBerry Curve 9360 is a GSM variant and the BlackBerry Curve 9370 is a World phone that supports both GSM and CDMA network.
The BlackBerry Curve 9370 is very slim, measuring only 11mm of thickness. It has a 2.44-inch HVGA+ display with 480 x 360 resolution pixels. There is a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash. It is powered by the latest BlackBerry 7 OS which promises improved hardware acceleration, faster web-browsing, voice-activated Universal Search and BlackBerry Balance.
Design
This typical Blackberry smartphone, the Blackberry Curve 9370 has a nice optical track pad surrounded by send and menu keys to the left and ESC and end keys to the right. Below, there is a 35 key back lit narrow QWERTY keyboard as well. The dedicated keys include send, end (power), camera (user configurable), volume rocker, mute and lock keys. The sleekness of this phone instantly attracts one towards it and it is also designed in the similar manner as other Blackberry phones with a nice touch panel display, glass body and stainless steel outline. The display measures 2.44 inches (measuring so diagonally) and this TFT LCD transmissive type touch-screen displays 16 million colors at a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels. The physical dimensions of this device are out and it exactly measures 109 mm in length, 60 mm in width and 11 mm in thickness. The phone will be available in Black color and easily carry able as it weighs only around 99 grams.
Audio and Music functionality
Blackberry Curve 9370 supports an array of audio formats which is the best part about its music player which can be aptly referred to as a multi format one. This Blackberry phone has also integrated a nice 3.5 mm stereo headset, hands free speaker phones and can also play continuous music thanks to unerring advanced operating system and flawless battery support. This smartphone also allows users to choose their favorite alert options which include polyphonic/MIDI/MP3 ringtones, vibrate mode and most endearing is the unique facility of on-screen and LED indicator.
Camera
Blackberry Curve 9370 has great media properties and as such it is equipped with an excellent 5 mega pixels auto focus camera with complementary features as geo tagging, 4 x digital zoom, smile detection, image stabilization, scene modes and LED flash. It can click images at pixellate count of 2592 X 1944 pixels and also shoot VGA videos in 640 x 480 pixels resolution. Just as the phone supports various audio formats, it also supports many video formats. It is indeed disappointing that a secondary front facing camera is absent.
Memory
Blackberry Curve 9370 has internal memory support of 1 GB storage and 512 MB of RAM. This memory is sufficient for saving almost infinite contact entries in phonebook and also manages calls records. The device can further extend its memory space to accommodate more data with help of its hot swappable 32 GB micro SD card.
Battery Life
The 1000 mAh capacity standard Li-ion battery of Blackberry Curve 9370 seems little inadequate as per its capacity specification. However, it is capable of delivering good performance of talk time of up to 5 hours on GSM and 5 hours 30 minutes on CDMA network. Similarly, it gives enough standby time of up to 12.5 days on GSM and 14.5 days on CDMA Also, music playback of 45 hours and video playback of 9 hours is possible on this device without any battery depletion issue.
Internet Features
Blackberry Curve 9370 is 802.11 b/g/n enabled and also has a Bluetooth v 2.1 with A2 DP. Its Internet-based features and data connectivity features are good as it is a Wi Fi hotspot and gives Wi-Fi® access to BlackBerry® Enterprise Server and Wi Fi access to BlackBerry® Internet Bundle.
