Motorola EX128 Review, Specs, Price, cell phone mobile, The Motorola EX128 is their Dual-Sim multimedia full touchscreen handset that offers a large number of functional features for the consumer. In a market dominated by Chinese alternatives being launched under pseudonyms by Indian manufacturers, Motorola’s move to provide budget dual-SIM phones is a welcome change.

Design and Looks

The handset comes with a Superior 3.2-inch 240×400 (WQVGA) wide full touch TFT resistive display and flaunts a stylish sleek physical appearance. The phone has physical dimensions of 107 x57 x 12.8mm and weighs only 100g (with battery). Other than the display, the front has 3 physical touch buttons for call connect/disconnect and confirm/Menu key. The rear part of the phone is scratch resistant and has a anti-skid cover that provides for a good grip. The Right side hosts a power/lock/unlock button, dedicated camera key and volume rocker. The top is similar to other touch phones and features a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port for connecting PC.

The touchscreen display of EX-128 is bright and gives excellent response. The Home screen has 3 different widget pages which will allows various favorite applications/functions on the home screen. These widgets can be accessed by simply swiping across the screen.

Camera

The phone has a fixed focus 3 Megapixel camera. It can capture a picture at a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, which is one of its best feature. It also record video and the video quality of the phone is superb. The phone also provides additional photo effects and editing can also be added to it like Sepia, Embossment, Grayscale, sketch etc.

Connectivity

The Motorola Ex128 is a quad band touchscreen phone which supports the four GSM bands namely GSM 850/ 900/ 1800 /1900. It has both Class 10 GPRS and EDGE which helps in online connectivity. The phone also support Bluetooth 2.1 version to connect other Bluetooth enabled devices for data sharing, microUSB 2.0 for connecting it to computer and comes pre-installed with ‘Opera’ browser which will connect internet to give you best browsing experience. The phone also has quick access to various favorite Social Networking Sites namely Orkut, Facebook, MySpace, Youtube for video sharing and Gmail to access webmail.

Multimedia

The phone has a music player which supports multiple audio formats AAC, AAC+, MIDI and MP3. The sound clarity is quite good on the loudspeaker and you will get excellent surround sound through headphones. The integrated stereo FM radio completes the entertainment section which also has very clear and decent audio quality. The phone also allows for recording radio and also has scheduled FM record facility to record your favorite program in the given time. The volume can be easily controlled by the physical button placed at the right side.

The phone has 50MB internal memory for all your contact details, SMS, MMS, mails and the images/ringtones. You can also expand your memory up to 32 GB through its standard microSD slot. The phone has an interesting feature which is called “In Call Recording” so you can record your important conversations up to 7.5 hours and can listen to them any time. The phone comes with a 910mAh Li-Ion battery which gives backup for a day in normal usage including multimedia, FM, browsing etc.
