Panasonic VS2 Specification & Price – Cell Phone Mobile, The Panasonic VS2 can be seen as a considerably cheaper alternative to the super stylish Panasonic X800 camera phone that we reviewed recently. While the X800 costs RM1,499, the triband VS2 is priced at RM899. Despite the lower price, the VS2 retains much of Panasonic’s “slim design” ethos (VS stands for Visual Slim, in case you’re wondering) and it sports a smooth metallic finish.
Apart from having the same fashion sense, the clamshell VS2 also has the same one-touch opening mechanism found on the X800. To keep the price relatively low, however, Panasonic had to shave off a few important features such as Bluetooth, memory card slot, exchangeable covers, external LCD screen and camera flash. Nevertheless, the VS2 still has a few luxuries up its sleeve. Most notable are the 16 million-colour, 2.2in TFT LCD screen and the 1.3-megapixel camera.
